Sure, he won a few games, but I can't say I'm sad to see him go one bit. He was a drunken lout off the field (though I suppose he fit in pretty well in Greenville), and an unethical twit professionally.

My issue is not with his decision. I completely agree that coaches, like anyone else, need to consider their family and their career before they consider a team and fans when deciding on a job. BUT, i do have a problem with someone attesting to the Pirate Nation how difficult it was to make the decision to leave Greenville, then a mere 4 hours later, attesting to the Bull Nation that leaving greenville was a "very easy decision". It's an integrity thing to me. Spin... Spin...

Let us not lose sight of the fact that this is career for Skip, it is no different than any of the rest of us who has a job. It is difficult to lose someone that has been a part of and meant so much to the Pirate football program. I do believe that many of us that work for a living has had to make a decision similiar to the one Skip had to make.
